Emmanuel is the name given by the Brazilian medium Chico Xavier to the spirit to which he attributes the authorship of a good part of his psychographed works. This spirit was pointed out by Chico Xavier as his spiritual guide/mentor.
The mediumistic work attributed to Emmanuel is composed of several books, many of them translated into different languages. They are historical romances, books of spiritual guidance, biblical interpretation, etc., among them, “Two Thousand Years Ago”, “Fifty Years Later”, “Paul and Stephen”, “Hail, Christ!”, “Renunciation”, etc.
There is also a book entitled “Emmanuel” by Chico Xavier that bears Emmanuel’s signature, published in 1938. …
